Steroid users should not be allowed in the hall of fame

Due to a wide range of media coverage and large scale steroid scandals fans and experts have continued to bring the games integrity into question. Major League Baseball is a game of statistics. The entirety of a player's career is based upon the consistency and credibility of the numbers and accolades acquired during the period in which they played. "Their real impact has been at the margins: There are certainly some scrubs who wouldn't be in the majors without the juice, and we have ample evidence that at the other end of the scale, drugs can take Hall of Famers and all-time greats and help them perform at historically unprecedented levels" (La-Times). When it comes to this topic generally there are two trains of thought. Many do not see the harm with this type of substance use because it makes the game more exciting and allows athletes to reach untested potentials. On the other side of the argument many fans and experts believe the game has lost its purity because of this drug use. More recently an issue has arose with high-caliber players who have tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs are not being voted for on a hall of fame ballot. This fact has brought many to question the game's integrity. No matter the statistics and achievements produced by the certain player prior to drug use, a positive test for steroids has shown to discredit the athletes integrity and career entirely.

I have had plantars fasciitis release surgery in both feet so I have tried everything known to man for relief of the pain.  I have a plastic tub full of different arches and insoles for my shoes.  I have shoes, shoes and more shoes.  Oral meds, loads of injections in my feet, physical therapy and still ended up doing the surgery. The left foot was done 8 years ago and gives me zero problems!  It is such blessed relief.  The right foot was done 5 months ago and I am still in pain from it.  I also had tarsal tunnel release, bunion and hammertoe done at the same time.  As far as the shots for plantars fasciitis.  I say try it.  You have nothing to lose and everything to gain in pain relief.  They will not cure the condition but will greatly help alleviate it.  The most important thing is stretching that plantars fasciitis. Go to You Tube and look up some exercises and do them faithfully.  Good shoes and arch supports are your friend.  No more flip flops unless you wear a brand called Fit Flop, they are awesome and really helped me.  My podiatrist recommended them.  Good luck, it is a long hard road with PF that no one understands unless they have walked it!

Steroids can make pimples pop up and hair fall out. They can make guys grow breasts and girls grow beards. Steroids can cause livers to grow tumors and hearts to clog up. They can even send users on violent, angry rampages. In other words, steroids throw a body way out of whack. Steroids do make users bulk up, but the health risks are high. It's true, on steroids biceps bulge; abs ripple; and quads balloon. But that's just on the outside. Steroid users may be very pleased when they flex in the mirror, but they may create problems on the inside. These problems may hurt them the rest of their lives. As a matter of fact steroid use can shorten their lives.
